Sales Lead
Company Overview
Team Ikigai is on a mission to combat financial illiteracy and create brighter financial futures for individuals and communities. We provide online tools and in-house training that ignite both personal and professional growth, helping people unlock financial freedom and long-term security.
We are more than just a platform. We are a gateway to new career paths and financial empowerment, built on a culture of excellence, integrity, and continuous development.
The Opportunity
As a part-time Sales Lead, you will be the primary relationship owner for clients who are looking to improve their financial well-being. This is a client-facing role where you guide individuals through budgeting, debt reduction, and investment strategies, while also identifying opportunities to expand the value we provide.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to develop as a leader in financial services, enjoys coaching and educating others, and prefers warm, relationship-based sales over cold outreach. You will have the flexibility of a fully remote schedule, with clear opportunities to grow your income and responsibilities over time.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and confident in their financial journey.
- Engage with clients and associates through calls and online meetings, providing timely, professional, and personable service.
- Educate clients on financial concepts such as budgeting, debt reduction, business and investment strategies, and overall financial well-being.
- Develop and refine customized financial roadmaps that align with each client’s goals and current situation.
- Identify and act on appropriate upsell and cross-sell opportunities to deepen client relationships and improve their outcomes, without any cold calling or door-to-door selling.
What Success Looks Like
- Within your first few weeks, obtain your Life Producer license and demonstrate a strong grasp of our services, tools, and client process.
- Within 3 months, consistently manage and grow a book of clients, maintaining high satisfaction and strong retention through proactive communication and follow-up.
- Within 6 months, reliably identify opportunities to expand client relationships, contributing meaningfully to revenue through warm upsell and cross-sell activities.
- Within your first year, be recognized as a trusted financial guide for your clients and a go-to team member for leadership development and mentorship opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- U.S. citizenship, at least 18 years of age, and the ability to pass a background check reflecting high integrity.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for building trust and long-term client relationships.
- Willingness and ability to obtain a Life Producer license within your first week in the role.
- Experience or clear aptitude in customer service, leadership, coaching, education, military, athletics, or entrepreneurship, with a drive to help others improve their financial lives.
Compensation and Benefits
- Part-time compensation in the range of $30,000 to $50,000, with advancement potential based on performance.
- Fully remote role with access to robust online tools and training.
